Richard Baudet
The message is clear!
Not only one apple a day, but also some mail art a day will keep the doctor away :-)
The beautiful calligraphy - of course by calligraphy master Richard Baudet - arrived in an envelope with a rose and a butterfly, and a hat and a painting by Vincent van Gogh on a stamp.
Thank you, merci beaucoup, Richard!
Cameron Terhune
I am behind in posting on this blog. This pencil drawing and the poems I received in 2015 already, from Cameron Terhune from the Unitsed States.
Since 'Your Doctor in Mail Art' has been silent for more than two years, finally it had become January 2018 until this was posted.
Thank you, Cameron, hope you're doing well.

I was delighted to read such a kind message towards one's doctor. Thank you very much, John, for sending me this lovely mail art and sharing your kind words with the world!

One of the most important things concerning health and disease is 'prevention'. I think that it's always good to eat fruit (see below, as of course: 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away'). But also doing healthy things can work as a good health carer. Like playing and/or listening to Music!
Eva probably didn't mean this beautiful envelope for this Your Doctor in Mail Art blog. But I consider it very suitable. Look at the upper concentration of the pianist, and see how happy (and healthy) the giraffe and lion look while being musicians!
As said, also fruits are good for health. Personally, my mood (and by this, the immune system) increases when I have breakfast containing fresh strawberries (so yes, Eva, me gustaría desayunar así!). But also other berries are said to be good for health. If this also is the case regarding coffee...?
Anyway, this beautiful envelope also caused a big smile on my face, and smiling is like laughing... good for health!
So thank you very much, Eva!

A very nice drawing of a mail art loving father, made and sent by Mariana Serban from Romania.
Below you see the cardboard box which has contained magnesium/potassium to protect the heart of Mariana's father (who happens to be forty years minus one day older than I am).
Thank you very much, mulțumesc mult, Mariana!
